About this campaign
On June 30th, a fire began to quickly engulf southern Colorado. This was extremely terrifying news to me because my family and I are very familiar with the little, charming town of Cuchara, Colorado. My family has owned a cabin right off of Highway 12 for over 70 years and we know many residents of the Cuchara area and are praying that everyone's homes will be safe from the fire. We are devastated by the news that this charming little town could possibly be destroyed by the Spring Creek Fire. I have made many memories in Cuchara and I want to help save the town. The fire continues to burn and has already burned over 100,000 acres and Cuchara is still at risk of being destroyed by the fire. I have decided to produce a design in an effort to make a T-shirt out of it in which I will be selling if there is enough interest. I WILL BE DONATING ALL PROCEEDS TO FIREFIGHTING EFFORTS DONE BY THE LA VETA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AUXILIARY.
NONE OF THE PROCEEDS WILL BE GOING TO ME.
Together, if we all raise enough money, we can help support the firefighters that are still continuing to battle the unpredictable flames of the Spring Creek Fire 2018.

These proceeds will be going to my personal account, but I PROMISE you that any money I make from the stickers will be donated to the merchants of Cuchara/Fire Protection Program La Veta. If you don't feel comfortable with this, please feel free to donate through the T-shirts which will be GOING DIRECTLY TO THE ORGANIZATIONS.

My parents owned a cabin in Cuchara in the '70's and I've enjoyed visits to the 1899 Inn in LaVeta since the '80's. Sacred mountains and a very special community are dear to my heart.
