Spookley is a square pumpkin who lives in a round pumpkin patch world. His
story reminds us that the things that make us different are the things that
make us special. Spookley is the "Official Spokes Pumpkin" for National Bullying Prevention
Month in October and 100% of the profits from sales of his "DARE TO BE SQUARE" shirts
will be donated to PACER'S National Bullying Prevention Center.
All shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the campaign closes
on October 11th, 2013.
Spookley was first introduced to millions of children in the book The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, in which he is shunned by all
of the round pumpkins until a mighty storm threatens to destroy the entire
pumpkin patch and only Spookley, with his unique shape, can save the day.
The success of The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin has led to the
creation of a series of Spookley books and a #1 app for iTunes and Android,
as well as a Spookley movie that airs on television and in movie theaters
across the country every fall. Spookley is now a featured attraction at a
growing network of pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and fall festivals across
North America, and Spookley is also embraced by educators and non-profit
organizations because his story helps teach about fundamental character
values. Free Spookley-themed, bullying prevention resources are available
on PACER'S National Bullying Prevention Center website.
Spookley, along with all of his friends from Holiday Hill Farm, was
created by children's author and lyricist Joe Troiano. Please visit www.holidayhillfarm.com
