About this campaign

Our 16th annual Walk for Wags & Whiskers has gone virtual this year for everyone's safety. Your "registration fee" gets you the shirt of your choice.

The Mission of DeSoto Animal Rescue Society is to be a Voice for Voiceless Animals, giving them a better quality of life through in-home foster care, adoption, pet over-population education, humane education and higher ideals of humanity toward all animals.

DARS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) all volunteer organization. We are not affiliated with nor receive funding from any municipality or government. Our adoption fees are nominal and do not cover the full cost of their regular vetting, much less any special medical needs they may have. We rely solely on donations.
