NO documents supporting DAR lineage should be altered!
Women are different from men and that difference cannot be changed.
As a member of the DAR, (Daughters of the American Revolution),I support women's sports and women's organizations. Sadly, at this time, the Storage Administration of the DAR are erasing women/daughters by allowing men to join. Very disappointing.
Legacy. The DAR requires genealogy with legal documentation to validate eligibility even up to and including DNA. A very high standard that has been bastardized, diminishing the core principles of the DAR.
