About this campaign

Help support and lift the spirit of Dennis Miller as he undergoes chemotherapy for breast cancer. After years of serving in the military and law enforcement, his signature "Magnum" stache is in danger of jumping ship just when Dennis needs it the most! You would think a stache as bold as the "Magnum" would stick around to battle out breast cancer but NO! The bugger is being beat up by chemo. Let's show that stache that we want him to stay by supporting Dennis through purchasing and wearing these manly, stache shirts. Hey, if you're able, feel free to grow a stache of your own. Maybe it will be your upper lip, winter warmer or perhaps it will grow into something more like a best friend or even your new identity!
Help support Dennis by purchasing a t-shirt until December 24, 2016
All money goes to Dennis Miller to help with expenses that he has while undergoing treatment.

Corporal Dennis Miller has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer has metastasized into his bones and spine. Corporal Miller is one of the officers that put his life on the line on that fateful day in 2012 at the Tulsa County Courthouse by stopping an active shooter. He is a man with a heart of gold, the kind of man that takes care of people when they are in need.

Dennis devoted his life to the service of his country in the U.S. Army for over two decades and followed with more service to his community in the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department. His selfless giving was most recently exhibited as he and his high school sweet heart, Christine, took care of her mother, Patricia. She endured her own cancer battles first, with breast cancer last summer and then with brain cancer at Christmas 2015. From July of 2015 to March 2016, they selflessly cared for her; making her final days comfortable as she fought cancer with dignity. They traveled back and forth to Patricia’s home in another state while she underwent a double mastectomy. On Christmas Eve 2015 while visiting in Tulsa, Patricia had seizure like symptoms, was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with brain cancer. Unable to return to her home, Dennis and Christine made sure that Patricia was comfortable and well taken care of during her valiant fight against a growing brain tumor. Dennis and Christine lost Patricia in March 2016. Together they loved and cared for Patricia throughout the last 3 months of her life, all the while Dennis worked full time, helping in his off time.

Now, Corporal Miller is the one in the fight for his life! Dennis is the primary breadwinner and his recent diagnosis of bone & breast cancer has placed his family in a precarious situation. There were many unknown expenses that came up during Patricia’s cancer battle. Those expenses depleted their savings as they worked to take care of his mother in law. Now, they face similar expenses as Dennis fights his own cancer battle. Dennis has had to take an extended leave and will be forced into early retirement from the Sheriff’s Department at the end of the year due to the seriousness of his illness. Although the prognosis for this type of cancer is 22%, Dennis is determined and Army strong in his resolve to beat this. We believe in him.

His family and friends are asking for your help so Dennis can focus on his treatment and recovery. Your donation will help him focus on treatment and not be as burdened with the financial pressures. The alleviation of this stress will help his chances of recovery significantly.

Please take the time and consider giving a donation this holiday season to help take the financial burden off of Dennis and Christine during this difficult time.
