About this campaign

I would like us as a community to come together to raise money for Youth Emergency Services (focus' on helping homeless youth and also helps homeless of all ages) In Loving Memory of Zaiid Liwaru.

All who knew Zaiid knew what a giving, loving, helpful, community man he was. He went out of his way to help others and his community, that's just who Zaiid was. After his recent passing and hearing his storyI know I and many others have looked back and thought, 'what more could I have done?' A young man, only 19 years old, lived so much life and gave so much of himselfin such a short time. This fundraiser is set up to raise money for an organization called Youth Emergency Services,recommended to me by his mother, that focuses on helping homeless youth, but also gives food and supplies to homeless of all ages. A chance for us all to give back to our community and honor Zaiid's memory. And don't forget "What Would Zaiid Do" (#WWZD) :)

While Zaiid attended North he was the Student Council President. He was so outgoing and kind. The kids loved him because he always made everyone feel so welcome. Prayers and love for the Gaines-Liwaru family.
