About this campaign

Sometimes its just a juggling game with older dogs - they are so needing good vet care and a forever home. We have fosters but sometimes we just need a small quiet place for the old dogs to rest until we can find a forever home.  We dream of this building. Fundraisers in the past have now paid for the concrete base and part of this dream building.... now maybe bit by bit we can pay for great veterinary care for the old dogs that come in and maybe just maybe we can get a special shelter sanctuary for these old sweeties.

2nd Hand Ranch & Rescue is a small independent wildlife rehab home.  Nancy has been rescuing wildlife since she lived in Minnesota as a child and her mom saved orphaned squirrels, injured birds and lost kittens.  We are a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitation Center under the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and work closely with many other rehabbers as well our our local veterinarians, Conservation Police and DNR.
All wildlife is given lots of TLC, and raised with the goal to release back into the wild where it is most happy.

Another part of 2nd Hand Ranch & Rescue is Companion Animal Rescue.  Our Passion is all at risk, disabled, and senior animals.  We have had a god year adoptng out in 204 alone! . We t with all our heart to save as many as we can and we could use your help. Join us in our 2nd Hand Dog project with 'Forever Fostering'.
We are a licensed Illinois Department of Agriculture rescue as well as being a registered 501(c)3 non profit. Thank you with all our hearts.
