About this campaign

DREAM stands for Disability Rights Education Activism and Mentoring (https://https://linktr.ee/uwldream). Our organization is a group of students with or without a disability committed to raising disability awareness on campus and within the La Crosse community. As a member of the community, DREAM wants to fundraise for a local organization; Aptiv.  
 To help raise funds towards La Crosse Aptiv, DREAM will be having a T-shirt sale throughout the fall. With our T-shirt sale, “T-Shirts for Awareness”, 100% of the proceeds will go towards fundraising La Crosse Aptiv. Our sale will be open to campus and the community in hopes to raise over $1,000.  Additionally, to help promote philanthropy, we will be hosting the first Accessible Movie Night at UW-La Crosse Student Union lawn or UW-La Crosse Student Union Theater (Rain location) on October 21st, 2023 from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. This year's movie night will be showing Disney’s Encanto. UWL Students, faculty and La Crosse community members of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend. Admission and parking is free and popcorn and drinks will be provided. Attendees are invited to bring a blanket, lawn chairs or anything else they may need to feel comfortable during the movie.
