About this campaign
The 70th Field Company Royal Engineers is building at GWA Newville - help us construct our period-correct unit dugout! As one of the Great War Association's newest Allied units, we've been busy for the past four years building trench structures - bridges, duckboards, ladders, camouflage screens and even a storage shed for one of our fellow Allied units. Now its time for the 70th to build its own permanent structure just behind the front line where our Sappers will sleep and work at future tactical events. Each tee shirt sold not only raises awareness of the 70th, but directly contributes to the construction of the unit dugout by helping to defray the cost of materials. Each tee shirt features the World War I era insignia of the Royal Engineers as well as the "Ace of Spades" battle insignia of the 12th (Eastern) Division with which the 70th Field Company served in France from 1915 through the Armistice.
