About this campaign
This limited-run of shirts will help raise funds for organizing efforts happening among educators in Los Angeles and California. All donations will be given to Educators for Justice in Palestine LA, which is organizing in solidarity with Palestinian students, educators, community members, and our allies across the state/nation.
This shirt features a feminine figure reading a book labeled "Said," a nod to the work of Edward W. Said, Palestinian scholar and theorist. Poppies partially obscure her figure, highlighting that while this work and movement may be cloaked in symbolism for now, we are all learning and growing towards liberation at a steady pace. A free Palestine is in sight.
The back has a quote from Said: "No cause, no God, no abstract idea, can justify the mass slaughter of innocents."
We object to Zionism in our schools, governments, and institutions, and oppose the mass murder of Gazans and the persecution and oppression of Palestinians worldwide.
