Established in 2003, Team 1466 is not just a robotics team; it's a legacy forged by the passion of “Brotha” Dave Pierce and the dedication of generations of students. From its humble beginnings with a tank-treaded robot topped by a ferocious Tasmanian Devil toy, to clinching regional titles and the regional Chairman's Award, our team has thrived as a pillar of innovation, leadership, and community contribution in East Tennessee.
Now embarking on our most ambitious season yet, we face the challenge of funding our participation in three pivotal regional competitions across the South. Each event comes with substantial costs for event registration, materials, and travel expenses.
