Our last resort...

My husband and I are high school sweethearts we been together for 9 years. We got married in 2012 it was the best day of my life because I married the love of my life and my best friend. I knew the day I married him I wanted to start a family. We have talked about kids for years but we both agreed after we got married we would try. I was so excited and happy, who doesn't want to be called mommy. We got married in 2012 we started trying. We thought it would be easy but it wasn't. A year after we both went to see a doctor and my husband had a varicocele thats why we couldn't get pregnant. He had the surgery and everything turn out good in took about a year to get things back on track. After he was back on track and we still couldn't get pregnant we decided to go see a fertility doctor. I had so much testing done to see why I couldn't get pregnant. When one test was done I found out that I only have one working tube, when I got that news I didn't know what that meant my heart just dropped and my doctor told me I could still get pregnant I was happy after hearing that. My doctor told me my treatment plan and it was insemation (iui). Our insurance only covers three IUI's, so we only had three trys. I was put on medication(s) and started my first cycle of the IUI. I had ultrasounds done and tons of blood work. I thought I had a good chance of getting pregnant by doing the IUI, but once again it failed. I went through 3 cycles and all 3 times it failed. Everytime my IUI's failed I was heartbroken I thought wow I am never going to be called mommy. Going through infertility you have your ups and downs and you really need your family and friends when going through this. Thankfully I have them and my husband is the best through all this. He makes me feel like there is still hope. Our last chance is doing the IVF and unfortunately it is very expensive and our insurance doesn't cover it at all. We have put out so much money already and its so stressful. This is our last chance and hope to have a family of our own, and I can not tell you how much I really want to be a mother. My husband and I appreciate every donation and it means the world to us.
