About this campaign

All funds will be donated to the Robb School Memorial Fund.

Eva Mireles, age 44, lost her life on May 24, 2022, protecting her 4th-grade students in Uvalde, Texas. In addition to Eva, one other teacher and nineteen children were killed in the mass school shooting at Robb Elementary School. Eva was a teacher in Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District for 17 years. Eva was an avid, daily CrossFitter. She regularly used her fitness to run in local 5K's and loved hiking. She leaves behind her husband Ruben Ruiz and daughter Adalynn (22).

As a teacher, parent, and crossfitter, my hearts are definitely with everyone affected by this. Thank you so much for doing what you are doing and how you are honoring her. Did the workout today and cried after. Love and prayers send to you all!

I am a mom and a homeschool teacher and a former CrossFit box owner and this has all just been heavy on my heart so I just wanted to do something to support her family.

There is no greater use of strength than protecting people who can not protect themselves. Honoring Eva’s heroic use of her strength and those she died saving.
