About this campaign

Team Evan’s Crew is proud to participate in the Pan-Mass Challenge, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in support of the Evan T. Mandeville DIPG Research Fund. With your generosity you will be helping to continue advancing critical research in the fight against pediatric brain cancer.

In August 2011, our family was camping in NH during one of our most memorable and enjoyable vacations. Three months after that vacation we learned Evan was very sick. Not just sick, we found out there was not a thing that could be done for him medically to change the prognosis. Evan passed away in November 2012 at 11 years old. So now we ride 163 miles in the Pan-Mass Challenge to raise money for DIPG research at Dana-Farber in Evan's name. We NEEDED to do something to make sense of it all, to find a way to change the outcome for future children. We have been riding since 2013 as Team Evan's Crew.nh 2011 013jpg
