Over the weekend of August 14-16, 2026, The Periodic Paralysis Association invites you to join us at our virtual summer camp, Every Move Matters. We are uniting the global periodic paralysis community for a weekend of movement, creativity, education, friendship, and connection to move through life with periodic paralysis together.
Creating movement is important for your health and the periodic paralysis community. It doesn’t matter how you move, it matters that you do! Every activity attended, t-shirt bought, donation, friendship, step, nap, dance break, squiggle, and move you make matters. It supports reducing isolation, creating community, resources, education, advocacy, research, and visibility for everyone living with skeletal muscle channelopathies including, periodic paralysis.

By inviting participants to attend virtual camp and pledge movement for periodic paralysis, this event reframes movement in a way accessible to everybody. By connecting people through various events and platforms over the weekend, Every Move Matters empowers people around the world.
What do the funds support? Funds raised will provide crucial support for the Periodic Paralysis Association’s programming (including our periodic paralysis advocacy program, World Periodic Paralysis Day, educating medical professionals on periodic paralysis, creating resources, attending conferences, webinars, supporting periodic paralysis research and researchers, growing periodic paralysis research, Periodic Paralysis Conference Poster Session, etc) and help us grow our programming to reach even more people. We don’t want anyone living with a skeletal muscle channelopathy to feel alone. The Periodic Paralysis Association is a small non-profit for an ultra rare disease.
