Mission Statement:

We recognize that autistic individuals are not supported as strongly as they should be. Autists are not accepted or included when it comes to their care. It is our mission to provide support, aid, advocacy, sensory aids, protective gear, and resources for families and autistic adults. Education is the key to acceptance and inclusivity.

Aims
Our aim is to improve the overall quality of life for individuals on the autism spectrum. Improving the way individuals on the spectrum are perceived,by listening to those very individuals and having members of the board represent the autistic community by being autistic themselves. Remove the stigma and make way for success, inclusivity, and acceptance.

Hello everyone my name is Dominique. I am a 37yr old mother to three awesome and amazing autistic kiddos. I am starting this fund raiser because through this fantastic journey I've found that there are so many families and adults out there who live with very little support. I have joined together with some very fantastic autistic adult friends of mine and we are going to set up a charity for Autistics across the globe. This non-profit organization will go towards helping families with autistic children and autistic adults. This is not going to be a charity that raises funds for research in curing or recovering autism as that's a fools errand. Autism does not need a cure. It needs understanding, acceptance, and support. We will be offering sensory aids, help with advocacy, education, protective gear, weighted blankets and belts, chewies, and anything else that aids autistics and their families in improving quality of life. I have had the wonderful pleasure of getting to know some absolutely inspiring autists. Through listening to them and learning what needs there are, I've devoted myself to starting this charity. My friends and I want to improve education about autism. Stop the fear and misinformation that is being widely spread. Autists are different not less. One of the great parents in this with me is Emma Dalmayne. She is an autistic mother to 6 children on the spectrum. She's a huge advocate and a strong presence in the autistic community in the UK. These are her words. "My names is Emma Dalmayne one of the directors for Fantastically Autistic, I'm a mother to autistic children and am autistic myself. I advocate against autistic mistreatment's and campaign in the media. I am very proud to be a part of this charity and believe strongly there is a great need for this organization as there is not enough information for carers and indeed autistics in general. You can venture to my website http://autisticatedalmayne.com/ for more information and read articles written by myself and others. Read up on my fight against the use of MMS and CD. Thank you all for being a part of this. " A dear friend of mine who is autistic herself with three children two of which are on the spectrum came to me asking for ideas on how to get help with homeschooling. The schools were just unable to fulfill the needs of her children so like me and so many others she has taken on the task of educating her children at home. I scoured the web in search of aid for her. She needs a computer and other small tools in order to have the best shot at schooling them. I couldn't find anything that directly helped families with her needs. This baffled me. If you are familiar with the pricing of equipment for sensory needs, occupational therapy tools, education and so much more that goes into raising a child on the spectrum; you will understand how extremely difficult it can be to find funding for these things. Our goal is to offer small donations to assist with this. We would also like to offer information and resources to adults on the spectrum. Finding ways to live independently. Also help with finding advocates for IEP meetings for public school children. Education and support are crucial in our journey to acceptance. Embracing autism is our message. We aim to be there for actually autistic individuals and their families. This is a small group of Neurodiverse and Neurotypical parents trying to start something new. Something amazing. Any support is appreciated. If you cannot donate please share the word. Thank you all so very much.
