About this campaign
Fear isn't real.
The story of how one boy's bravery can inspire strength in all of us.
Joe Hensonis an 12 year-old-boy that is braver than most men twice his age. Joe inherited his strength from his loving father, Chris, who sadly was taken from his wife and four children four years ago in a horrific car accident. Chris was an amazing man, a loving father and a devoted husband. Joe's going to need this strength, because on June 26th, 2014, he was thrust into a journey that will test every fabric of his being.
Through shirt sales and additional donations, we've currently raised over $70,000 through our multiple fundraising efforts!

Joe has medulloblastoma, a highly aggressive brain cancer. He was diagnosed in July of 2014. He had surgery to remove the tumor and that surgery changed everything about his life. Joe has a tracheoto and is on a ventilator. He spent187 consecutve days at Jhns Hopkins Hospital. He endured 6 weeks of radiation therapy and has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy. Joe hasn't spoken since his surgery and haa diffcult time comunicatig. Joe travls backnd forh to Hopkins onc a montfor chmo, and in styleby ambunce ony. Their curent bale is o find nsistet at home nursing care.
