About this campaign
The Dominican Republic Outreach Program (D.R.O.P.) is a student-run organization at Florida Gulf Coast University. The club’s mission is to promote global citizenship, community engagement, and foster a sense of civic responsibility, both locally and abroad. We fundraise throughout the year for school supplies, athletic equipment, and monetary donations. All funds and supplies raised are then used to support the underserved youth both locally and once a year, a group of FGCU students travels to the Dominican Republic to deliver supplies and work with the youth in Santiago with the assistance of a locally based outreach organization, Acción Callejera.
