Fight Like Remy - Cops for Kids with Cancer

This spring, I will be running my third Boston Marathon with the goal of raising 10,000 dollars for the charity Cops For Kids with Cancer. In May of 2018, my son Remy was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Remy had just turned four years old, and the diagnosis was devastating. In November of 2018, my family received a generous donation from CFKWC that greatly assisted us as Remy battled cancer. CFKWC provides 5,000 checks to families with children battling cancer to help assist with any expenses families have while their child goes through treatment. Since the organization was established in 2002, CFKWC has raised over 5 MILLION DOLLARS and has assisted over 1000 families. Running the Boston Marathon this April is a way that I can give back to a tremendous organization that helped my family so much when we needed it most. To help hit the goal of raising 10,000 dollars, we are selling hats, sweatshirts, t-shirts and tank tops through Custom Ink. ALL PROCEEDS from the sale of these shirts and hats will go directly to CFKWC so they can continue supporting families with children battling cancer. As we have done in the past, we consulted with Remy when coming up with ideas for a design. When asked what he wanted for a design, Remy yelled "TEXAS!" Remy is very proud of the fact that he was born in Laredo, Texas when I was assigned there out of my academy, so that's what we went with. Thank you very much for your support, and as I've said before, Remy did the hard part... All I have to do is run for a little while.
