About this campaign

How it works:
1. Purchase a Clive Community Services tote bag.
2. After receiving your tote, fill it with much-needed items like non-perishable food, hygiene products, and warm clothing
3. Drop off items in your filled bag at Clive Community Services or a designated drop-off location before Thanksgiving to ensure families have what they need for the holiday.
4. Every bag you fill helps set a table for a family in need.

Timeline:
* The bags will be sold from 10/1/2024 to 10/28/2024.
* Once the fundraiser ends, the bags will be made and shipped to Clive Community Services.
* Stop in and pick up your bag when they arrive! Estimated November 14th

Why your support matters:
Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks and sharing our abundance with others. At Clive Community Services, we serve families who may not have the resources to enjoy a holiday meal or basic necessities. Your support through the "Fill the Bag" drive helps us provide food and essential items, allowing more people to experience the warmth and generosity of the season.

At Clive Community Services, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to celebrate Thanksgiving with dignity and comfort. This time of year, we see more families than ever needing assistance with food, personal care items, and clothing as they navigate the colder months and holiday season.

That’s why we’re excited to launch the "Fill the Bag" Thanksgiving drive. When you purchase one of our specially designed tote bags, you’re doing more than buying a bag—you’re helping us make sure that families in our community have what they need to enjoy a holiday meal and feel the warmth of generosity.

Every bag you fill with donations will help us restock essential items that go directly to families in need. Whether you bring in non-perishable holiday foods, warm clothing, or personal care items, your contribution will make a tangible difference in the lives of our clients. By using your "Fill the Bag" tote, you’re helping us gather the supplies needed to ensure that no one goes without the essentials during the holiday season.

We invite you to share the bounty this Thanksgiving by filling a bag and giving back. Together, we can create a community that truly cares for one another, where no table is empty and no need goes unmet.

The CCS pantry provides much needed nutritional support for needy families. Food insecurity affects many Iowans and their children. A great cause.
