About this campaign

At 41 years old, he is a devoted Christ follower, loving husband, and proud father of seven whose lifelong dream was fulfilled when he became a firefighter. Just one year into his rookie career, that dream was suddenly interrupted by a major medical emergency while on shift, followed by two additional episodes, resulting in three TIAs that left deficits on the right side of his body. After extensive testing, doctors also discovered reduced blood flow to the left side of his brain, adding even more uncertainty to an already difficult journey. Now facing an extended time away from the job he loves, he is walking through an unexpected season of recovery, leaning on his faith, his family, his brothers at the firehouse, and the same courage that first called him to serve others.
