About this campaign

These difficult times have made the needs to address food insecurity in our community more important than ever. Our school pantry needs to be restocked to provide necessities for our students and their families.

In 2018, a Fannie Lou Junior was concerned with the problem of food inequity in her community. For her senior project, she raised money for and established the FLHFHS Helping Hands Pantry. Our pantry is unique in that it is located in our school building and provides food and hygiene products for any student or family in need. During these difficult times, our pantry has been more necessary than ever. Fannie Lou Hamer was a food justice warrior and one of her goals was to eradicate food insecurity. We are selling these shirts to raise money to restock our pantry and to continue the vision of Mrs. Hamer and our students. 100% of the profits of these amazing shirts will go to the pantry.
