About this campaign

Flood the Oceans has been around for over a year now and we are looking to record an album at Telegraph Studios in Poughkeepsie, NY. Please help us out by buying our shirt for $15. Proceeds go directly to us! Thank you!

If we reach 100 shirts sold we will earn $720. All funds raised will go directly towards Jared Nelson who will put it to the band.

Please contact Jared Nelson with any questions you have.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

Started out on a hot summer day in Eddie's basement. Flood the Oceans is the brainchild of drummer Eddie Lodice and lead singer Nick Dagher as Eddie wanted a band. Neighborhood homie, Jared Nelson, sat in on one practice session and it all quickly came together. FTO's premier release, a song based off Jared's band,Fake ID, and their YouTube hate comments, which has never since been spoke of because of its awfulness, was recorded that day.

After much needed practice and the discovery of bassist, Kris Edelmann, FTO created the hit tune "My Druggy Girlfriend," a song about an ex girlfriend of Nick's and her drug usage. Since then, FTO has dropped the ill tracks doe and released their demo titled "Grow Hemp for the War." The title of said demo was inspired, rather, taken from an old wartime propaganda poster promoting the growth of the the cannabis plant to aid in and to support the war effort. A few months passed by and Fake ID's guitarist, JP Tachkov, sat in on a practice. He fell in love with Flood the Oceans' sound and was inducted into the band officially as rhythm guitar. Now the band sounded more full.

Come March 2013, Kris became overwhelmed with school and SATs and sadly had to leave the band. In order to keep their commitment to the gig they would be playing in a few weeks, Flood the Oceans needed to find a new bassist. Jared remembered seeing a kid named Elijah Lederman playing bass in middle school and that he was very good. So Eli became the new bassist for FTO and from there it was history! Which brings us to today, where we need YOUR help(money) to fund our next LP.
