About this campaign
Florida Licensed Midwives have a long, rich history serving families. Since 1996, more than 33,000 babies have been born with the help of a licensed midwife. In October 2016, Florida ACOG and the Florida Medical Association announced that they were pursuing legislation and rule-changes that may impact how licensed midwives can practice and who they can serve. Because midwives are essential
I was just another statistic being bullied in birth until I met my amazing midwife. I have since taken back my births and become empowered. Let us all go out and take back birth and empower other women. Great midwives are needed for our Future!
