Flynn's Friends

Hello! "Flynn's Friends" is the walking team for the 2016 March for Babies event in Iowa City, IA. Purchase t-shirts to simply support our team OR wear while you walk with us on April 9, 2016! All proceeds from the t-shirt sales go directly to the March of Dimes to research premature birth and support those currently in the NICU.

Flynn Hansen is now one year old and thriving. But he had a rough start. He was born at just 29 weeks gestation and weighed only 2 lbs. Our family spent 66 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. Flynn endured many days of oxygen support, heart surgery and feeding issues. The March of Dimes was integral in many of the medical advances that saved Flynn's life.

Today, Flynn weighs 20 lbs. and is a normal, growing boy. Your support of our campaign ensures that research continues to prevent premature birth if possible, and support those who are currently experiencing the effects of prematurity.
