An estimated 27% of children living in America today live with a form of chronic illness. Children do not choose chronic illness, nor do their families who bear the weight of daily treatments and seeing their children suffer. Sometimes the answers for these children come swiftly, other times it feels like an uphill battle where solutions are sparse and ineffective. Functional medicine offers new hope and tools for these children and families. Functional medicine is not often covered by insurance making it extremely expensive for most families. We believe in the power to heal, we believe that health for all children, regardless of diagnosis, is possible. We believe that children living with chronic illness should have access to both conventional methods and methods scientifically proven through functional medicine.
