The Holt Family resides in the Wisconsin Rapids/ Nekoosa area. They have owned land in the area for many years. Holly, the mother of six beautiful children and one grandbaby, was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma in 2019. Her and her family have made hundreds of trips back and forth to Mayo Clinic, Rochester and she’s had many surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation therapies in these past four years. She is currently on a target therapy to reduce the spread of cancerous growth. In May, she was told that she is stage 4 by her Mayo Doctors; however, she is standing on God’s Word as her truth which is “By His Stripes, we are healed” Isaiah 53:5 and “Because of His wounds, we have been healed” 1 Peter 2:24, we are all Praising For the Healing instead of pleading for it. Miracles are already taking place: In May, she had what the doctors called “collateral veins” grow and allow her kidney to thrive when the renal vein was completely occluded by a mass. She had surgery to add stints and reopen the renal vein on Maundy Thursday and was home for Easter that Sunday. The doctors later agreed that the collateral veins could indeed also be called “Miracle Veins”, as they grew from her Lumbar spine and uterus which is very rare and actually had never been seen by any of her doctors prior to this. Holly is an outdoorsy woman, lover of horses and all of God’s Creation, especially her family and friends. She is a ray of sunshine herself and brings joy and love to all that she meets.
