About this campaign

Black Dog Syndrome, the shelter phenomenon in which black strays are frequently passed over for adoption and are the first to be euthanized. Black dogs are the hardest to adopt and are usually in rescues the longest.  People think black dogs are scary...help us to promote awareness and show the world that... black dogs aren't scary or mean... BLACK DOGS ROCK!!!

Great Dane Friends of Ruff Love, Ruff Love Rescue and Camp Bow Wow Charlotte are hosting an awesome event to promote awareness of Black dog Syndrome,  Black Dog Appreciation Day and Dog Walk. The event takes place May 3rd in Charlotte NC.  Come and walk with your dog to show your support!  If you can't come buy a shirt to help and support our efforts to bring awareness to Black Dog syndrome!!
