About this campaign

Guma’ Imahe is raising funds for next year’s recital and upcoming trips. Your support will help defray the out of pockets costs and travel expenses. As a nonprofit organization, we do not receive regular income from the government and businesses. Our funds are raised through presentations, fundraisers, and most of all generous people such as yourselves. We are hoping that you will help us.

This design was created by Kaiåna Janelle. This design is the 1st of three and it is called ”Awakened”. It inspired by her passion to remind the people of the Marianas of who we are and how we need to wake up in this society and bring the spirit of Inafa’maolek back to our people. It symbolizes our history, present, and future. The patterns in this piece are meant to evoke the ancient CHamoru spirit in us all. To never forget who are and how far we've come.
