Many of our volunteers are in the desert for a month or longer, often giving up most or all of their own free time at the event in favor of making sure everyone else has a great time.

All proceeds from this fundraiser go to lifting morale and improving quality of life for our volunteers. Some examples include: Art Car maintenance and upkeep, transportation to and from shifts, logistical camp planning and wish list items, general operational resources, extra shade and seating, social house equipment, new sound system, appreciation swag for our crew, community support, non alcoholic beverages, emergency supplies, etc... basically things that we don't get a budget for. These funds also go toward registering GPE's Team 23 Fundraising for non-profit status.

Once again, NONE of these donations go to pay for alcohol at our bar.
