About this campaign

The Green Scheme in partnership with Department of Recs, Housing Authority and The YMCA will be conducting code green workshops throughout the 2017 spring and summer year at five different locations. Over the last 3 years, our Code Green Program has raised over $144,00.00 making it possible for us to continue offering important programs within our communities. Our programs have changed the way people think about their local food system and what they eat. . We are asking for you to support this program by becoming a Green Scheme Team Member By Purchasing A GreenScheme Tee. All funds raised will be used to operate our Code Green Program which benefits the Wards 5, 7, and 8

The Green Scheme is a 501c3 non-profit organization servicing the Washington DC area, providing leadership, education,on a variety of environmental topics from healthy living to green career pathways. We conduct various projects to educate and empower low income communities on issues related to their health and environment in ways that are relevant.
