About this campaign
On June 6th, 2025, Greg Wittwer had a chemo port installed in his chest and shared that he was diagnosed with stage 3 colon and stage 2 rectal cancer. Greg said “I’ve been through a whirlwind of emotions over the past month. I am incredibly lucky to have an amazing wife, family and friends who have been so helpful thus far .”
We met with the Hematology Oncologist to come up with a plan of attack.
• 8 rounds of chemo over 4 months (every 2 weeks). Day 1 will be 4 hours of chemo in the hospital followed by 2 days of at home chemo.
• After 4 months I’ll have an MRI of the tumor has shrunk my 20% or more I’ll have surgery to remove what’s left. Followed by up to 2 months or radiation/chemo.
• If the tumor doesn’t shrink at the 4th month, we will throw the kitchen sink at it and blow it up with radiation/chemo.
The doctors have made it clear I’m being treated to be cured / remission… it’s gonna suck for a little while but I’ve got this! Don’t skip your colonoscopy!!!!!!!
