GTMO Trail Blazers - Blazing trails in Castro's Backyard!

We are an all-volunteer group dedicated to trail maintenance here at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NAVSTA-GTMO). The Trail Blazers have existed in the past here at NAVSTA-GTMO, but have not been active since 2012 until this year. We intend to fully maintain the entire Ridgeline Trail system ding 2016, incling replacing many of the bzers currently on the trailas well as installing new trail name and directional signs. We are also cutting back overgrowth and removing deadfall (fallen trees) from the trails, and placing new benches, picnic tables, informational signs, etc. The intent is to leave the trails fully maintained by the end of this year, and pass along the club to an organization with long-term presence here at GTMO.
