Our tote bags are made from 50% recycled materials.
Happy Ocean is passionate about cleaning up our ocean. Our motto is "A happy ocean is a clean ocean!" Plastic pollution in the ocean is a gigantic problem that not only hurts marine animals, but each of us as well. Recent studies have revealed that 83% of our drinking water contains microplastics. Happy Ocean believes in positive solutions that inspire hope and motivate people to help conserve and protect our ocean.
With our Happy Ocean tote bag campaign, we've elected to support The Ocean Cleanup because we believe they present the most viable technological solution to removing plastic from the ocean, specifically the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

"A full-scale deployment of our systems is estimated to clean up 50% of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch every 5 years."
This is awesome news! It means we have a chance to undo the damage caused by decades of plastic pollution and help support The Ocean Cleanup.
