Happy Baby Photography Project

As a mother, my heart hurts for families who have angel babies (those who passed far too soon) and for little, beautiful babies who deal with terminal illnesses or diseases. It's a challenge to spend more days in a hospital than in a peaceful, happy home ... and, for these families, we know it's tough to prioritize spending money on a professional photo shoot. So, we decided that we will give away free photo shoots to local families who absolutely deserve to spend an hour capturing beautiful and happy moments together with a professional photo shoot.

Your donations through the Happy Baby Project helps provide prints for families from their free photo sessions -- this way, families can proudly display their family portrait in their home, carry a print with them as they travel to and from doctors appointments or hospitals and .... perhaps will even help add some cheer to a hospital room, where they sometimes spend months on end. 

It's no secret - photographing children is a bit challenging. Sometimes the camera is scary, sometimes other things are far more interesting than the camera ... like a piece of grass or a noise somewhere off in the distance (kids are funny!) but that just means we give extra time for a photo shoot, take breaks as needed and are very go-with-the-flow about how the photo shoot progresses. The photo shoot can take place at a home, at the hospital (if the hospital permits photos), at the beach, at a park ... we stay flexible. We know the Florida weather is a bit relentless so we are flexible to the baby's needs so they stay comfortable and happy during the shoot.
