About this campaign
Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team (HART) is a 501 c 3, Not For Profit, Open Access, No Kill, Volunteer Animal Rescue that also serves as an Animal Control Facility. HART's Motto is "Every Pet Matters" HART has acquired six acres of bare land where we plan on building our brand new animal shelter, hopefully sooner than later, but we need your help. Our plans include indoor/outdoor dog and cat kennels to allow our animals more freedom, natural light, play areas and more. An adoption floor is in the works for showing animals to potential adopters, an exam and surgery room so that we may offer more services to our residents. We also plan on adding a conference room for education, and a pet food pantry. HART already offers an array of community programs, such as free pet food for residents going through a difficult time, low cost vet care services, spay and neuter, transportation to the vet, housing privately owned pets at no charge in times of emergencies. Our new animal shelter will allow us to expand these already successful programs and to offer more.

We adopted Ruby now known as Marla. She is such a spunky little girl! When we adopted the shelter was making trips to Texas to rescue animals needing a home from the floods and we were just in awe of their enerous hearts!
