About this campaign

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Hasty Team has been in operation for more than 50 years and is a 501(c)3 non-profit made up of volunteer rescue technicians who donate their time, skills and resources so that others may live. Our volunteers respond 24/7, 365 days a year. No matter what the situation entails, we will answer the call. In 2021, our volunteers participated in 79 missions and spent a total 7,593 volunteer hours on training and missions, saving the taxpayers of Washoe County $508,781! Sometimes the necessary equipment is too expensive for an individual's budget, so the non-profit purchases shared team equipment with fundraised money. We are currently in need of a 10' EZUp, 2 DUI drysuits, a durable laptop for ROV, a depth gauge, and 25 swift-water equipment kits. We’re seeking help from the community for these purchases. Our current rescue gear funding need is around $62,000 and ALL t-shirt proceeds will go towards this rescue and recovery equipment. This shirt sale offers various fits for Men, Women and Children.
