Healing Our Nation With The Quarter Foundation

This idea of the quarter foundation has been thought up by my beautiful wife.  And this is where me, her husband has a part in getting this started.  We as a couple started going out with sack lunches to find and feed the homeless.  It was something that I started about a year ago.  I got the idea from a video of a pastor who started making bagged lunches.  They went out as a church, walked the city streets and handed them out personally.  It was something that touched my heart, and I had to do it.  And I did!  Sack lunches take no time to make and cost very little.  You can serve 5 people for about 10 to 15 dollars.  Through doing this and getting time to talk to some of these homeless people I learned they needed more then just food but clothes, shoes, and toiletries.  If the lord put it on your heart to donate it will help with this tremendously.  Matthew 25  34-40 Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
