About this campaign
Many in the arts community face unmanageable financial loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These individuals are integral to the fabric of our communities and cultures; in fact, artists are the heartbeat of our communities. They are on the front lines of serving the hearts and minds of the world.
Artists are independent workers; many have lost significant income due to work such as commissions, performances, exhibitions, workshops, and classes that were scheduled and lost. Artists face a similar situation to restaurant workers.
Gathering groups together is VITAL for artists, arts organizations and the arts ecosystem – all of which will suffer as long as Stay-At-Home and Social Distancing measures are required for public health concerns.
Help us help as many artists as possible with wearable art for Indian performance art forms!
PROCEEDS raised will support organizations that are providing emergency relief funding to individual artists requiring funding for personal emergencies and artists serving community emergencies. These organizations will distribute the funds based on their criteria.
A minimum of $9 per shirt will be donated. The more sold, the higher the contribution! Additionally, all donations above any beyond will go to supporting artists (minus credit card fees). All of the effort put into this campaign has been done pro-bono, in service to artists and our community.

Indian classical music and dance are world treasures, as are the teachers and practitioners.
Suchi is amazing and I believe in her efforts to support arts in the community.
I love dance.
The whole world is upside down, but the artists of the world have been helping me cope and stay grounded (from concerts to stories to performance). Here's hoping this contribution returns just a bit of love.
