Help Bruce Wayne the Cat to Keep On Trucking!

About this campaign

My cat Bruce Wayne is a character, an epic weirdo. He is full of chirps and tail wags, loves hunting bugs and getting the zoomies with his brother Neville, and is an eponym for Bruce & Neville Records. It is no exaggeration to say he and Neville have helped raise me and have vastly improved my mental health just by existing as the loving beings they are.

Bruce Wayne is now 9 years old, and I am hoping he has LOTS of years ahead - but recently we also discovered a tumor on his tail. To give him the best chance at a long life and prevent this tumor from spreading or causing terrible pain, the vets have recommended that Bruce have a tail amputation surgery. I'm grieving the loss of his very expressive tail (where he shows a lot of his emotions and personality), but I know this is the best way forward. He is otherwise extremely healthy and I know he will find a way to continue being an epic weirdo as a bobcat.

This is expensive and I'm doing my best to cover as much as I can, but I need help. That's where you come in! I am doing a relaunch for the Bruce & Neville Records t-shirt that has been my most popular merch item.

The idea of Bruce & Neville Records got started because I needed a label name to release my third album, and I decided to name it after my cats. I had NO IDEA this would end up all over Spotify and Apple Music... so I decided to embrace it, and made a t-shirt about it! In my 12+ years of being a singer-songwriter, this has been the most popular piece of merch I've ever made. From Asheville to France, and lots of places in between, fans and friends have loved this shirt.

About the artwork -- since my cats have played with my old guitar strings since they were little, I loved imagining Bruce & Neville playing guitar, and I commissioned an artist I found on Etsy (https://www.instagram.com/able6art/) to create a portrait of them doing so.
