Details about the 2018 Belugas Count! event:
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Help count whales at 15 staffed stations throughout Cook Inlet, Alaska.
1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Beluga Festival at The Alaska Zoo (Gateway Hall and Classroom) with hourly presentations, booths, family activities, and more!

Belugas Count! is a free, all-day event that brings together citizens to focus on the endangered Cook Inlet beluga whale, fostering local pride, awareness, and stewardship. It is a collaboration between a variety of federal and state agencies, local and national organizations, as well as individuals.
