About this campaign

All proceeds will go to the Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking. This will be used to support our outreach and awareness program. Through this program, FCAHT team members help raise awareness on human trafficking in all forms, educate on indicators of a potential victim of human trafficking and how you can help stop modern day slavery.

The Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking (FCAHT) is an International and Domestic Anti-Trafficking Agency that has been helping victims of human trafficking for over ten years.
FCAHT founder, Anna Rodriguez, had her first experience with a human trafficking case in 1999, leading to the landmark trafficking case, U.S. vs. Tecum. Anna served as a victim's advocate with the Collier County Sheriff's Office and was an outreach coordinator for the Immokalee Shelter for Abused Women in Collier County, Florida for 10 years. Her first human trafficking case developed from a home visitation, following up on a domestic violence incident. She noticed the presence of a young woman that sent up red flags for Anna and made her suspicious that the young woman was a victim of human trafficking. Eventually she was able to get the victim out and the case against her trafficker became part of U.S. vs Tecum. Today the Tecum case is a major case study by agencies including USDOJ, FSU, Croft Institute for International and The New York Times. This case was also used to urge US Congress to pass the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000. Since then, FCAHT has been working to provide training to community groups and law enforcement, sharing valuable knowledge about how to identify and help victims, and helping to organize working groups that pool experience and resources in order to better address the challenges with-in local communities.
