About this campaign

Many of the bartenders, barbacks, entertainers, and other employees of the DC Eagle continue to struggle during this pandemic. While some did receive unemployment or other assistance, many have not. And no sign of PPP funds yet.

These funds will only go directly to the employees, not the owners or creditors of the business.

This will be the last run of these logos for this purpose, so get yours now.

The DC Eagle was the oldest and largest LGBTQ+ club in the Washington, DC area. It was also the largest leather bar in the world. It's legacy includes the longest running leather contest, pre-dating the IML title itself. Before this shutdown for the pandemic, it was running 7 days a week, with Trivia nights, Karaoke, live performances, drag shows, and legendary dance parties. Now, the business has closed permanently and filed for bankruptcy. Many employees were left with no income, and some never qualified for assistance programs. Several face personal struggles during this pandemic.
