About this campaign

On October 3rd 2026 “Hersey’s Heroes” will be walking to raise funds for the Colon Cancer Coalition! In January of this year my dad, Ron Hersey was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal Cancer.

His journey hasn’t been easy but he fighting hard and of course laughing along the way. His sense of humor has stayed with him and I truly believe it’s saving his life. Even on the dark days he’s able to laugh and push through.

The support from family and friends has been so wonderful and we hope to get a great group together to walk or run!
