About this campaign

Hey, I am a Sheldon college student who has a big dream to help raise awareness of a disease I personally have that not many people know about around the world, called histoplasmosis.

This is a disease that can be fatal if not properly treated, and often gets misdiagnosed. It is a fungul infection in the lungs that enlarges the lymph nodes in the chest and they stay enlarged and inflamed for a very long time. People with this disease are very ill. Once a treatment is started, The person can live a normal life, but health can change on a dime. Healthy one moment, and very ill and in the hospital the next. It is very frustrating way to live and that is why I want to help raise awareness and educate people on this disease. I have dreams of raising awareness by writing information articles for newspapers, and magazines, using these funds. Also the fund can go to researching more about this disease to try to come up with a vaccine for it through a program in NY. I am so excited to be able to do this, and so motivated to be able to help others who are going through the same thing I am. To get this dream started I am selling tshirts for my illness called histoplasmosis. i want to be able to spread awareness and explain to people how dangerous ghis is. please get a shirt at i am doing a fundraiser to help raise awarenes for my lung disease. I am selling tshirts. if you could please help me raise the money i neeed to educate the world on what histo is and how fatal it could be if not treated. please visit this website https://www.booster.com/histoplasmosis

It would mean a lot if people of this town, can help me so I can help others

My sister died from histoplasmosis. Even the infectious disease doctor here didn't know what she had. They treated her wrong and actually helped her disease spread throughout her entire body. I am thankful for your campaign to spread the word
