This year marks Hiztorical Vision Productions (HVP) 5th year educating the public on untold-but-inspiring African American history in the South through short film documentaries. Over 20 film festivals & awards later, HVP is continuing to preserve African American history one story at a time. Hiztorical Vision Productions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Alabama. HVP partners with local communities throughout Alabama to produce short-film documentaries that help protect and preserve the often-untold African American narratives found in the area. HVP's latest film, "Afrikan By Way of American", has had much success since the debut in August of 2021.
