HSSTT HW+ Fundraiser

At the Humane Society of St. Thomas, approximately 60 percent of our dogs are heartworm positive. On average it costs about $300, give or take, to transport a dog off island through cargo. With this fundraiser, we are hoping to raise enough funds to transport a significant amount of our HW+ dogs to sister shelters so that they are able to receive the best medical treatment possible. Funds raised will also go towards the costly treatment and preventative care needed for the animals in our care. As more animals come through our doors everyday, our costs will only increase as we work to provide the care that all these animals need and deserve.
