Hunter Sharp

Hunter is newly diagnosed with "ALL acute lymphoblastic leukemia" Hunter is 15 and attends ACHS high school. Hunters journey started on July 5th With pain in his lower right stomach. He was taken to the emergency room and blood work done to check for Rocky Mountain spotted fever. A week later he was taken to his pediatric doctor for further testing which revealed a positive test for Lyme disease however, all of the counts didn't fall in line with only Lyme so he was then referred to a specialist who then ran further blood test that came back as positive for Leukemia. Today July 27 hunter returned to children's and was admitted. His platelets were low so those had to come up before he went into surgery. Surgery started around 3:30ish to put in a port, spinal tap and bone marrow tap.....I felt lead to start this page to try to combat some of the expense for the Sharp family. Missing work, eating at the hospital to coming home where hunter will have quite an appetite to fuel after initial treatment.
