About this campaign

On September 6th, the British Virgin Islands were devastated by a direct hit from Hurricane Irma, the deadliest Atlantic storm ever. It will take years for the islands to recover. Your purchase of this shirt will bring in the necessary funds to help them rebuild. All proceeds benefit hurricane relief in the BVI. My name is Diandra Jones, and I am the organizer of this fundraiser. I have resided in the Virgin Islands for seven years, as a Yoga and Dance teacher. My husband and I, like many others, survived Hurricane Irma by cowering in our bathtub with a mattress over our heads, as our home was torn apart by 200mph winds. We lost our home and our livelihood in the BVI, and had to evacuate shortly after. We were among the lucky ones. Now we are working tirelessly to bring aid to the many BVIslanders who we had to leave behind.

Bad news? The BVI, with 90% of its structures destroyed, is in dire need.
