Black Men United is a mutual-aid brotherhood that was founded in April of 2019. Since its founding BMU's work has centered in community organizing, activism and advocacy. Through mutual aid Black Men United has brought together resources and food to members of the community. BMU has also serviced the community through a multitude of community clean ups where members and volunteers have provided members of the houseless community with essential resources. BMU also works to make political education and Black History a priority through lectures, teach-ins, and webinars. Our goal is to help provide and maintain stability in the Black community with the aid of Black Male Leadership.
